Matrice Ellis-Kirk

Matrice, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, has over 20 years of experience in the executive search industry. She has developed a depth of knowledge about corporate governance and an overwhelming desire to help companies change their communities.
Before founding Ellis Kirk Group, Matrice led board and CEO assignments at two large global search firms and a boutique search firm. She began her search career in the Consumer Goods and Services and Private Equity Practices, as well as the Financial Officers Practice. Her early career was as an officer in commercial banking at MBank, the vice president of the Office of Management and Budget at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, and leading the Dallas office of investment banking firm Apex Securities.
Matrice and her husband, Ron, are empty nesters mostly living in Dallas, Texas. Her interests span the arts, education, and transportation. Matrice is the chair emeritus and life board member of the AT&T Performing Arts Center and is a Dallas City Council appointed board member of the DFW Airport Authority. She was appointed to the Jefferies Financial Group board.
Ron Zera

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Zera was with another major executive search firm for 16 years, where he specialized in the QSR/ restaurant segment of their Consumer Goods & Services Practice. Prior to entering executive search, he worked for Frito-Lay (a division of PepsiCo) and Nucor Corporation. He also held an administrative role at Iowa State University for three years and has served on the President’s Research Council at the University of Texas Southwestern Health Services Center.
With more than two decades of executive search experience, he is a specialist in the consumer arena. Additionally, he has deep expertise in the industrial, healthcare, and higher education sectors. He has worked with global companies as well as entrepreneurial startup organizations and both franchise and non-franchise multi-unit environments.
Mr. Zera holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Miami of Ohio University. He serves on the board of the Chiapas Project, an initiative of the Grameen Foundation that provides microfinance to impoverished women living in Mexico’s poorest state. He is also on the board of OLPH, an inner-city school in Dallas.
Dave Winston

Dave is the leader of Caldwell Partners’ Industrial Practice and their Dallas office. With over 20 years of executive search experience, Dave has successfully completed searches for board directors, chief executive officers, presidents, chief operating officers, chief financial officers, and a broad range of functional vice presidents, and has placed these executives in start-up firms, small and medium-sized public and private firms, and major corporations.
Before embarking on his corporate career, Dave spent 20 years serving his country as an officer in the US Marine Corps. He held numerous flying assignments, served as the Chief of Global Programs for the Special Operations Command, and served on the staff of Marine Weapons and Tactics Squadron One.
Dave serves on the board of Heroes on the Water, a not-for-profit organization that helps wounded warriors relax, rehabilitate, and reintegrate through kayak fishing and the outdoors. A National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow, Dave also serves on the advisory board of the North Texas Chapter of the NACD. He is a member of the Helicopter Association International, holds an FAA commercial rotary-wing instrument pilot certificate, is a former 20-year U.S. Soccer Federation referee, and has completed eight triathlons.
